JT Group started 60 years ago as J Tomlinson & Co Ltd, a painting and building restoration business by founder Joe Tomlinson.

In the early years Joe was determined to use the latest technology with the introduction of the paint roller in the late 60’s and New Zealand’s first airless spray unit that also doubled as a high pressure water blaster in the 1970’s. Technology that produced a superior finish with cost savings back to the client.

This openness to technology continues today with JT Group being proud to introduce New Zealand’s first automated building washing machine, the waterless cleaning system and our new electric water blaster. Technology today that is mindful of a sustainable future.
